Happy Spring everyone!
Sorry it's been so long since I last wrote! So much is going on! Our family is expanding by leaps and bounds! Our first grandchild was born on 2/9/09. Tylor Grant came into this world weighing a whopping 8 pounds 4 ounces!
We also found out that I am pregnant and due in September! Tylor is going to have an aunt or uncle younger than he is! Please pray the pre-eclampsia stays away! I will keep everyone posted! So far everything looks great and the doctor says I'm doing everything I can (which, unfortunately isn't much except taking baby aspirin). But the baby's heartbeat is strong and in May we go for a special sonogram to see how the blood flow is and hopefully by then we'll know if it's a boy or girl!

Burt's Bees Chemical-Free Sunscreen SPF 30
$14.99 | Health
Sale Price: $12.99
How it Works
This 100% natural, non-whitening formula provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection and helps keep skin hydrated without using chemical sunscreen actives like octinoxate and oxybenzone. Our natural sunscreen is effective immediately upon application and safe for kids.
How to Use It
Apply generously and evenly before sun exposure. Reapply as needed or after swimming, perspiring or towel drying. Use carefully. This product may discolor clothing.
Featured Ingredient
Titanium Dioxide — Occurring naturally as the mineral rutile, this substance is used chiefly as a white pigment and as an opacifier. It reflects light, so (when identified as such) can be considered a natural sun block.

Home "Work" for Dads
|
At the FPEA Homeschool Convention in Orlando and the CHEC Conference in Beaufort, Mark will be speaking to men in a workshop entitled, "Home 'Work' For Dads". Mark has been doing this talk for a few years now and he usually has the room maxed out to capacity. It seems that there are a lot of dads who are looking to work from home. In this economy, I am sure he will once again have full attendance. So get there early and get a good seat up front! If you miss it, the CD will be available at the conference and we will have some afterwards. Just send us an e-mail and we'd be glad to get it to you.
Here is a description of the workshop:
Home “work” for Dad! Bringing Dad home too!
As heads of their homes, men should play a major role in their children’s upbringing. What better way than to have him working from home, rather than being away at his job for 10-12 hours a day!
Homeschooling father of four and successful entrepreneur, Mark Brodsky came home to work after ten-plus years working in the corporate world. He recently sold a website he created to one of the largest Protestant organizations in the country. Mark will share his story and give Dads pointers on how they can come home too! He will give you business ideas, tips and important resources, and have a valuable Q & A session afterwards. Most of all he will encourage other dads that they can do it too!
Why should Moms and children be home during the day and not Dad? Dads, we need you home too!
Hope to see a bunch of you dads there!
