"I am a police officer and a bi-vocational pastor. Last week, a detective asked if he could see me in his office. I noticed that there were tears in his eyes. He looked at me and said, 'Larry, I want to become a godly man. I have done things that I am not proud of and I want to change.' I shared with him the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. When I asked what got him to thinking about making a change in his life, he said, 'My wife and I went to see a movie called FIREPROOF. I saw a lot of myself in that movie and it did not make me proud.'"
My husband and I were headed towards getting a divorce after 10 years of marriage. We decided to go see this movie. I cried, and I can say that I was truly changed in my heart for the better concerning my husband through this movie. My husband also said to me that if we had not gone to see this movie we would be getting a divorce right now. I thank God for this movie and for everyone who was involved in the making of this movie. Thank you all for being obedient to God. It's so important, because the director said that he wondered why God wanted him to make a movie about marriage. He had his heart set on making a movie about something else, but then He obeyed God. This movie is truly from the throne room of God and truly a tool that I believe God is using to raise His standard of what marriage is, especially in America.
I am separated. I saw FIREPROOF twice. I am doing The Love Dare for my wife. This movie touched a very deep place. I am trying to rescue my marriage from a fire I started. I am also working to improve myself. I have become closer to the Lord. He has enlightened me about all my wrong doings. I have hurt my wife in so many different ways that I don't know if I can repair it. But this movie has not only given me hope for my marriage but for me to become a good person and closer to the Lord. Thank you.
I am a Christian, but this movie put my marriage and my short-comings in my face. While I was stomping my feet to get what I wanted, someone like our good doctor friend in the movie was wooing my wife with his charm because I was too selfish to woo her with my charm. Just like Catherine in the movie, my wife is a beautiful woman who just wanted me to love her instead of other things like cars or work or money or lusting after other women. It was great how the movie pointed out that looking but not touching is not ok because it takes you further away from your partner. It makes you think things that are not true. You justify your own improper wants and actions and that further harms your relationship. A friend of mine brought my wife and I to this movie with two other couples and I almot left when it started because it was us on the screen. The director really hit some nerves, and if my wife wasn't there I would have cried, but I choked back the tears. I'm secretly doing The Love Dare now to try and help our marriage. We were separated for 6 months ten years ago. I said "I'm not leaving my wife and two sons," but that's about all I did. I think this movie has shown me what to do next and I'm going to try it. Thanks.
"We were on the brink of divorce. My husband and I were separated for one year. Our story was very similar to the one in the movie. I did not want to go see it at the time, especially with my husband. I finally agreed to go as a couple after an invitation from a friend and her husband. I was very uncomfortable and nervous before the movie even started. As I watched the story unfold, God spoke to me over and over again. I cried through most of the movie, realizing that I was being selfish and I had hurt my husband severely. After it was over, we went home and discussed participating in the Fireproof study with the same couple that had gone with us to the movie. We have completed the second week of study and I am participating in The Love Dare. My life has changed and so has my marriage. We have a long road ahead, but we're on the right path."

A Wasted Vote by Constitutional Party Presidential Candidate Chuck Baldwin
Some people have argued with me..."why vote for someone who can't win?" "Wouldn't Obama love conservatives splitting up and not voting for McCain"
Well, Chuck Baldwin says it best in this following letter, but I have to ask,
"Are you going to vote for who is popular, or who shares your Christian values?
and more importantly,
"Who do you think is in control?"
A Wasted Vote
by Chuck Baldwin
October 10, 2008
When asked why they will not vote for a third party candidate, many people will respond by saying something like, "He cannot win." Or, "I don't want to waste my vote." It is true: America has not elected a third party candidate since 1860. Does that automatically mean, however, that every vote cast for one of the two major party candidates is not a wasted vote? I don't think so.
In the first place, a wasted vote is a vote for someone you know does not represent your own beliefs and principles. A wasted vote is a vote for someone you know will not lead the country in the way it should go. A wasted vote is a vote for the "lesser of two evils." Or, in the case of John McCain and Barack Obama, what we have is a choice between the "evil of two lessers."
Albert Einstein is credited with saying that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. For years now, Republicans and Democrats have been leading the country in the same basic direction: toward bigger and bigger government; more and more socialism, globalism, corporatism, and foreign interventionism; and the dismantling of constitutional liberties. Yet, voters continue to think that they are voting for "change" when they vote for a Republican or Democrat. This is truly insane!
Take a look at the recent $700 billion Wall Street bailout: both John McCain and Barack Obama endorsed and lobbied for it. Both McCain and Obama will continue to bail out these international banksters on the backs of the American taxpayers. Both McCain and Obama support giving illegal aliens amnesty and a path to citizenship. In the debate this past Tuesday night, both McCain and Obama expressed support for sending U.S. forces around the world for "peacekeeping" purposes. They also expressed support for sending combat forces against foreign countries even if those countries do not pose a threat to the United States. Neither Obama nor McCain will do anything to stem the tide of a burgeoning police state or a mushrooming New World Order. Both Obama and McCain support NAFTA and similar "free trade" deals. Neither candidate will do anything to rid America of the Federal Reserve, or work to eliminate the personal income tax, or disband the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Both Obama and McCain support the United Nations. So, pray tell, how is a vote for either McCain or Obama not a wasted vote?
But, back to the "he cannot win" argument: to vote for John McCain is to vote for a man who cannot win. Yes, I am saying it here and now: John McCain cannot win this election. The handwriting is on the wall. The Fat Lady is singing. It is all over. Finished. John McCain cannot win.
With only three weeks before the election, Barack Obama is pulling away. McCain has already pulled his campaign out of Michigan. In other key battleground states, McCain is slipping fast. He was ahead in Missouri; now it is a toss-up or leaning to Obama. A couple of weeks ago, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida were all leaning towards McCain, or at least toss-up states. Now, they are all leaning to Obama. Even the longtime GOP bellwether state of Indiana is moving toward Obama. In addition, new voter registrations are at an all-time high, and few of them are registering as Republicans. In fact, the Republican Party now claims only around 25% of the electorate, and Independents are increasingly leaning toward Obama.
Ladies and gentlemen, Barack Obama is headed for an electoral landslide victory over John McCain. John McCain can no more beat Barack Obama than Bob Dole could beat Bill Clinton.
I ask, therefore, Are not conservatives and Christians who vote for John McCain guilty of the same thing that they accuse people who vote for third party candidates of doing? Are they not voting for someone who cannot win? Indeed, they are. In fact, conservatives and Christians who vote for John McCain are not only voting for a man who cannot win, they are voting for a man who does not share their own beliefs and principles. If this is not insanity, nothing is!
So, why not (for once in your life, perhaps) cast a vote purely for principle! Vote for someone who is truly pro-life. Someone who would quickly secure our nation's borders, and end the invasion of our country by illegal aliens. Someone who would, on his first day in office, release Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean and fire U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton. Someone who would immediately, upon assuming office, begin leading the charge to dismantle the Federal Reserve, overturn the 16th Amendment, expunge the IRS, and return America to sound money principles. Someone who would get the US out of the UN. Someone who would stop spending billions and trillions of dollars for foreign aid. Someone who would prosecute the Wall Street bankers who defrauded the American people out of billions of dollars. Someone who would work to repeal NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, the WTO, and stop the NAFTA superhighway. Someone who would say a resounding "No" to the New World Order. Someone who would stop using our brave men and women in uniform as global cops for the United Nations. Someone who would stop America's global adventurism and interventionism. Someone who would steadfastly support and defend the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
"Who is this person?" you ask. Go here to find out:
As John Quincy Adams said, "Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost."

*Disclaimer: I am currently a candidate for President of the United States on the Constitution Party ticket. My official campaign web site is located at:
A note from Mark:
In light of the upcoming Presidential election, quite possible THE most important election in history – I have been hearing and reading conservatives comment on the subject of ‘why vote for a 3rd party’ and so I have this to say about the subject:
John McCain, though a good man, I feel he is more liberal than any other ‘conservative’ candidate in history.
Way more liberal than Bush, and Bush:
1. Did nothing towards stopping the murder of millions of babies inside or outside their mother’s wombs.
2. Was ineffective in stopping the use of embryonic stem cells for research (when in fact other types of stem cells have proven more effective!)
3. Has grown our government larger
4. Has seen to it that, as a socialist nation does, our US government have taken over the mortgage industry and assist in devastating the worldwide economy.
5. Has illegally entangled us in two wars without a congressional declaration of war, which IN THIS COUNTRY IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
6. And of course, has done nothing to reverse the horrendous and atrocious actions taken against our border patrol agents Ramos and Compean (http://ramos-compean.blogspot.com/).
John McCain will not only take us down the same path, but much further, much faster. While the media paints McCain to be a conservative friendly, Christian friendly candidate, he is much further to the left than he is right.
Oh yes, compared to Obama, he is a far better choice. Like choosing heart disease over cancer. Which would you choose?
I choose Chuck Baldwin who is running for President of the United States under the Constitution Party – the ONLY president who’s main platform regards what the office and oath of the President of the United states clearly states -
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Yes, the Constitution. Which means he will not treat it as a rubbery, flexible document that only holds truths for us when he likes what it says. It is what our country is founded on! Never mess with the foundation! Tamper with a home’s foundation and the whole structure becomes shaky and unsound. But so far the dems and rebublicans have messed with it according to who’s in power and we have such important people in Washington going around making speeches about the separation of church and state, thinking that idea came about to protect the government from the ‘harmful’ influence of the church! How absurd is that!!??! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danbury_Baptists) They don’t even know what they are talking about!
Unconstitutional wars, unconstitutional bailouts, and the twisting of constitutional verbage so the liberal agenda for abortion can be promoted has turned this great country into a socialist-leaning nation whose very roots are being shaken to the core.
If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. So stand for something! Forget what you logically think. Vote as you think Jesus would vote.
If you think everything is so black and white, how can you logically come to your belief in Jesus Christ and his power to save you from an eternity in Hell?
Stop limiting what God can do in the land! Put your FAITH and TRUST in Him, and vote your conscience, NOT what the polls tell you.
If you truly believe what McCain stands for, then by all means vote for him. But please don’t waste your vote by voting for someone who compromises your beliefs just because you are afraid and fearful of Obama, the opposition.
I’m with John Quincy Adams! Vote your principle!

So if you are teaching your children the same values and principles that Vision Forum shares, wouldn't it be only natural to vote for a Party that shares those same values?
The Constitution Party is the third largest party, and it hasn't been around for very long. If Christians would vote NOT out of fear, but out of FAITH in God, I truly believe we can see a Constitution Party President in the White House.
Remember, "Duty is ours, results are God's."
Let's do our duty and vote OUR Christian morals and principles.
God have mercy on this country.
